1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Phishivox ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including Community (free), Professional, and Enterprise tier subscribers.

2. Description of Service

Phishivox is a phishing detection toolkit that analyzes emails for phishing indicators using multiple detection layers including rule-based checks, URL analysis, header forensics, machine learning, and AI-powered analysis. The Service is provided "as is" and is intended to assist users in identifying potential phishing threats. It does not guarantee 100% detection accuracy and should be used as one component of your overall security strategy.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. One person or entity may not maintain more than one free Community account.

4. Subscription Tiers and Billing

Community (Free): 5 scans per month, 4 detection layers, 7-day scan history. No payment required.

Professional: 200 scans per month, 5 detection layers (includes AI), 90-day history. Billed monthly or annually. Prices are displayed at checkout and may vary by region.

Enterprise: 10,000+ scans per month with custom pricing. Contact sales for details.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on first-time Professional subscriptions.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the detection algorithms
• Submit fabricated data to manipulate detection results
• Resell or redistribute access to the Service without authorization
• Exceed your tier's scan limits through automated means or circumvention
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service infrastructure

6. Data Handling

Email content submitted for scanning is processed in real-time and is not permanently stored. Scan results (verdict, score, reasons) are retained according to your tier's history limit. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data collection, processing, and retention.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its detection algorithms, user interface, and documentation, is owned by Phishivox and protected by intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.

8. Limitation of Liability

Phishivox is provided as a detection aid and does not guarantee the identification of all phishing attempts. We shall not be liable for any damages arising from phishing attacks that are not detected, or from false positives. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your scan history and account data will be deleted within 30 days.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
